First thing that comes to mind when you say “CAPEZIO”
Dance wear! I absolutely love everything from Capezio. From their selection of beautiful leotards, skirts, tights, accessories, Capezio is the best tool for every dancer’s needs.
Favourite “CAPEZIO” item
My favorite Capezio item are my pointe shoes! Believe it or not, I have been wearing the same style pointe shoe, Elans, ever since I started pointe when I was 12 years old. Over the years I have tried other makes and pointe shoes but I have always gone back to the Elans. When I am wearing my shoes I feel supported and elevated. I also feel confident and that I can dance to the best of my ability in my Capezio shoes.
Advice to other dancers…
Do not compare yourself to others; you will succeed when you work your hardest and embrace what is unique about you. Make your priorities in class doing the best you can, enjoying what you do, and forgetting your mistakes. There will always be someone with a higher jump, prettier feet or legs, but it’s important to not worry about what is out of your control and just work hard on becoming the best dancer you can be.
Unusual fact/love/habit/goal/ability that other people might not know about…
I was adopted from Brazil when I was eight months old. I come from a family of dancers and my two older brothers were professional tap dancers. Now my oldest brother, Gil Stroming, is the founder of Break the Floor Productions in which he directs many dance outlets including Jump Dance Convention, Nuvo Dance Convention, The Dance Awards, and Shaping Sound, to name a few.
